For the past 17 years she had worked at First Lutheran Church in Pontiac, first as a youth director and for the past 15 as church secretary. She was an active member of First Lutheran Church, Pontiac, taking part in youth groups, Barnabas missions and the choir and worship bands. She enjoyed playing cards and had been a member of the card club.

She was an avid reader and Chicago Cubs fan. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She was a past member of the Pontiac Women's Club. Mary lived in the same house for 75 years. Florence was born April 1, 1928, in Chicago, the daughter of John and Viola A. Hickstein Mawhinney. She married David W. Conway on May 22, 1948, in Chicago. He passed away July 9,2001.

on Sept. 2.1926, in Tulsa, Okla. He spent his Robert childhood Garland Jr. in Oklahoma and Texas, graduating high school from the Texas Military Institute in 1944. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the U.S.

Navy and was preparing for deployment to the Pacific when the war ended. Bob attended and graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, with a B.S. degree in petroleum engineering in 1952. More importantly, he met his future wife, Georgia, at the neighboring University of Colorado. They were married in 1953 in Georgia's hometown of Bloomington.

Bob started his career as a geologist in Houston, Texas, leading to a stint in Mexico and then Italy, but eventually his career led him to Casper, where he first worked for Seaboard Oil and then as an independent consulting geologist. It was there that he and Georgia started their family, having three sons between 1955 and 1961. In 1961, Bob moved his family to Bloomington, to pursue a potential oil play, and he became involved in other entrepreneurial pursuits. While there Bob and Georgia had their fourth child daughter, Kristen. By 1976, Bob desired to get back into the oil and gas industry.

More than anything he desired to return to Wyoming with its wide open spaces, wildlife, beauty and friendly people. Bob brought his family west; and he and Georgia resided in Casper until 1988, when he and Georgia moved to their current residence the 6G Ranch on Esterbrook Road south of Douglas, Wyo. The family has had many wonderful memories at 'the ole 6-G, as Bob liked to call it. Bob was a wonderfully creative man. He loved geology, history, art, music and photography.

He became an accomplished landscape painter in later years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Douglas, Wyo. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Georgia Garland; sons, Robert F. (Mary) Garland III and sons, Spencer and James, Laramie, Scott (Janet) Garland and sons, Forrest and Caden, Jackson, Jeff (Janice) Garland and son, Justin, Fort Collins, and daughter, Kris (Steve) Slyman and daughters, Billie, Ruby and Corina, Laramie, all who love him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert F.
