The Fortnite Halloween event – Fortnitemares 2024 – is about to begin, and it'll bring with it some brilliant skins to mark the occasion.

Fortnite is gearing up to get super spooky once again, and frankly, we can barely wait, even though it’s not like we haven’t been treated to plenty already. This season has been a real barnstormer, with the Marvel Battle Pass and the addition of the Day of Doom LTM, along with the mysterious countdown timer preparing players for the massive live event that saw players banish Doom to another dimension; players have been busy since Chapter 5 Season 4 began! It’s lucky, too, that it happened to fall just before Halloween hit, because it has meant that Fortnitemares 2024 is coming for us all over again.

Hype has been high since players have been preparing for the spookiest month of all, and it looks like the next update, set to come on Saturday, October 11 after some delayed downtime, is going to bring an awful lot of cosmetics, and if leakers are to be believed, we could be getting some more Disney-themed skins too.

Here’s all of the Fortnitemares 2024 skins you need to be prepared for, new and old.

Fortnitemares 2024 skins every skin in the Fortnite Halloween update

There are a pretty solid collection of Fortnitemares 2024 skins set to come in the Fortnite Halloween update, though some remain unconfirmed. Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming Fortnitemares 224 skins:

Billy the Puppet (Saw)

Of course, the Fortnitemares 2024 skin on everyone’s minds right now is the Billy the Puppet Fortnite skin, transformed into humanoid form and stretched out from the world of Saw. He’s in the Item Shop right now, either in the Billy Bundle (costing 2,500 V-Bucks) or as a standalong along with other Billy cosmetics:

  • Billy Outfit: 1,500 V-Bucks

  • Trap Television Back Bling (included with outfit)

  • Spiralised Slicer Pickaxe: 800 V-Bucks

  • Billy’s Tricycle Emote: 500 V-Bucks

  • Puppet’s Choice Wrap: 500 V-Bucks

If you want to bag this Fortnitemares 2024 skin, your best bet may be to purchase a bundle of 2,800 V-Bucks costing £17.49 / $22.99 / AU$30.35 .

Shadow Monks

The super-cute spooky variant of the Monks skin joins the Item Shop this season in a fresh bundle that seriously cuts down on the cost of the cosmetic. You can pick up the Shadow Monks Bundle for only 1,800 V-Bucks, which includes each of the individually available cosmetics:

  • Shadow Monks Outfit: 1,200 V-Bucks

  • Stitched Shadowsock Back Bling (included with outfit)

  • Sock ‘em Stick Pickaxe: 800 V-Bucks

  • Shadow Stitch Wrap: 500 V-Bucks

Again, it’s the 2,800 V-Bucks bundle that you’ll want if it’s just this bundle you want, which will run you £17.49 / $22.99 / AU$30.35.

Mephisto (Marvel)

As will come as a point of true horror for MCU fans, it looks like Fortnite has bagged the nasty demon Mephisto before the movies. The horrifying beast who once held the soul of the mother of Victor Von Doom could play a part in the season’s ongoing story, but for now, he’s expected to appear in the Item Shop at some during Fortnitemares 2024.

Leatherface (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre)

Perhaps one of the most brutish horror villains in history is finally coming to Fortnite, albeit in a likely less gory and grisly way than might do him justice. Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre has also been confirmed by Epic Games to be coming to the game as part of the Fortnitemares 2024 skins. We'll very likely see him drop once the maintenance is over and the update is live.

Lexa Hexbringer (Witch Lexa)

A new variant of a classic skin, Lexa Hexbringer (as she’s been named in a tweet by leaker @ShiinaBR) is joining the roster of Fortnitemares 2024 skins. She’s a new alteration to the classic Lexa skin, who first appeared in the Battle Pass of Chapter 2 Season 5, coming with some fancy armour to go with her anime art style. Her release date remains to be confirmed.

More Disney skins to come

According to leakers, the Battle Royale collab between Fortnite and Disney won’t end at The Incredibles, or the confusing Fortnite Disney Metaverse. A new look at the game's Fortnitemares gameplay trailer from @Hypex has revealed in-game looks at the Disney villains that will be joining the game in the Fortnitemares update: Peter Pan’s Hook, 101 Dalmations’ Cruella de Vil, and Sleeping Beauty’s Maleficent. There have been no teases or confirmations from Epic just yet, so we’re going to have to wait to see if they appear among the Fortnitemares 2024 skins.

Key Art teases

Along with these skins are a few that we haven’t heard about from Epic Games just yet, with the leaked key art (via @Hypex) for the game revealing a spooky variant of DJ Marshmello’s skin, as well as some spooky alterations of other Battle Pass staples, like the Black Knight adorned in pumpkins.

More leaked collabs to come

The delayed downtime has given way to plenty of leaks that have revealed a lot of fresh skins set to come to the game, as @Hypex has leaked the gameplay trailer for the Fortnitemares update on Twitter.

The previously leaked Sally and Pumpkin King from A Nightmare Before Christmas appear, as well as some new surprises, like Edward Scissorhands, She-Venom and a variant that looks a lot like the Symbiote Agony, and a Ghoulish variant of the Penny skin. Along with this is the pink wolf skin, which has been suggested by leakers to be the final item in the upcoming Fortnitemares Lego Fortnite event pass. There are a lot of other spooky twists on some classic skins that are likely to touch down in the item shop before the event is over, so keep an eye on it lest you don't fall behind and miss anything.

Current Item Shop

There are plenty of skins returning to the island too in the Creepy Outfits tab on the Item Shop. There is currently a Wrapped Rapscallion bundle (1,500 V-Bucks) containing the following:

  • Seth Outfit: 1,200 V-Bucks

  • Travel Tomb Tote Back Bling (included with outfit)

  • King’s Khopesh Pickaxe: 500 V-Bucks

  • Wrapped Wrap: 300 V-Bucks

Along with Seth are the following:

  • Headlock Outfit and Trappy Back Bling: 1,200 V-Bucks

  • Jaw Dropper Pickaxe: 500 V-Bucks

  • Nitehare Outfit and Floppy Back Bling: 1,500 V-Bucks

  • Steel Carrot Pickaxe: 800 V-Bucks

  • Skull Ranger Outfit: 1,200 V-Bucks

  • Skull Trooper and access to Skull Trooper Quests: 1,500 V-Bucks

  • Skull Sickle Pickaxe: 1,200 V-Bucks

  • Crypt Cruiser Glider: 1,200 V-Bucks

We’re sure there are plenty more of these returning skins to appear in the Item Shop, so keep an eye on it and ensure that the skins you missed don’t pass you by again. And there's lots of new additions in the Fortnitemares 202 lineup to spend your V-Bucks on as well!
